MONTREAL, March 26, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Laurentian Bank will hold its Annual Meeting of Shareholders on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will take place in the Ludger-Duvernay theatre of the Monument-National, located at 1182, Saint-Laurent boulevard, Montreal.
Journalists are welcome to attend the Annual Meeting as observers. However, no video or photo equipment will be allowed, except for a 15-minute period prior to the start of the event for media representatives wishing to take pictures. Camera operators and photographers will be asked to leave once the Annual Meeting proceedings begin.
Once again this year, this will be an eco-responsible meeting in the sense that the Bank is making a concerted effort to reduce the environmental impacts of the event. Among the various actions to be taken in all aspects of organizing this meeting is the calculation of greenhouse gas emissions generated in association with people travelling to and from the meeting. These emissions will then be compensated for with the planting of trees or with the purchase of carbon credits.
Press Conference
Media representatives are invited to attend a press conference following the Annual Meeting. The conference will be presided over by Mr. Réjean Robitaille, President and Chief Executive Officer of Laurentian Bank.
Journalists who would like to conduct a personal interview with Mr. Robitaille are asked to contact Mary-Claude Tardif at 514 284-4500, extension 4695, to schedule a time.
