MONTREAL, Jan. 9 /CNW Telbec/ - Representatives of the media are invited to attend the conference "Alzheimer's Disease: Challenges and Opportunities", by Howard Bergman, MD. Dr Bergman will present the highlights of his report to the general public. He chaired a committee of experts responsible for developing recommendations on Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Presented in May 2009, the report proposes the Ministry of Health and Social Services with seven priority actions divided into twenty-four recommendations to meet the challenge of Alzheimer's disease in Quebec.
As part the National Alzheimer Awareness Month, the Alzheimer Society of Montreal is proud to welcome Dr Bergman for this public conference.
