TORONTO, Aug. 25 /CNW/ - Fulcrum Events, Inc. is pleased to announce the
dates for the 2010 Canadian Coffee & Tea Show. After hosting the show in
Montreal and Vancouver, the show returns to Toronto on September 26 and
27 at The International Centre - Hall 1.
The Canadian Coffee & Tea Show is a comprehensive educational conference
and trade show catering to independent coffee & tea retailers,
restaurateurs, chain operators and buyers. The conference features an
extensive educational program which provides delegates with insights on
consumer trends, statistics and hidden profits for retail operators.
Interactive workshops include: coffee and tea cuppings, smoothies and
creating profitable coffee and tea cocktails. Each afternoon the trade
show highlights growth opportunities with the latest product innovations.
A key feature of the event is the annual Canadian Barista Championship,
hosted by KRUPS. This year's competition is predicted to be intense and
the most challenging in the competition's history. The championship
features competitors preparing a series of espresso-based beverages in a
tight window of time for a discerning panel of official coffee judges.
New for this year is the Coffee and Tea Cocktail competition on Monday
September 27th. Baristas, bartenders, coffee and tea
enthusiasts will have the chance to handcraft a cocktail using coffee or
tea as the base. Attend the show to sample the winning recipe.
