Health organizations to respond at news conference
OTTAWA, ON, Nov. 14, 2023 /CNW/ - On Tuesday, Nov. 14, a group of leading Canadian health organizations will hold a news conference to urge the Minister of Health and the Associate Minister of Health to urgently address a Health Canada decision making it legal for flavoured nicotine pouches from Imperial Tobacco to be sold to children of any age. The Health Canada decision also allows Imperial Tobacco to promote these products on TV, on social media, on billboards across from schools, with lifestyle advertising, with free samples, and by other means.
