Media Advisory - CANSEC 2023 to feature defence news, military support to Ukraine

OTTAWA, ON, May 24, 2023 /CNW/ - Canada's largest defence, security and cybersecurity trade show returns to Ottawa on May 31 and June 1, with opportunities for media to walk the show floor, hear from Canadian defence leadership, and speak directly with Canadian companies contributing to the Ukrainian war effort and the Canadian defence industrial base.
CANSEC 2023 will feature more than 300 exhibitors, four VIP keynote speeches, 30+ international delegations, and the popular CANSEC Labs area showcasing the latest in cyber, disruptive and emerging technologies.

8am – 4pm EDT each day
Registration is required for all media attending CANSEC, including camera operators and producers. Media can apply for a media pass here or RSVP to [email protected] to initiate the registration process. We encourage media to register in advance.

- Same-day b-roll (MP4, HD) footage from the show is available to broadcast outlets upon request.
- Podcast studio equipped with mics is available for recording on-site interviews.
- Indigenous business delegation with more than 10 Indigenous-owned and led defence companies will attend in partnership with the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.
- CANSEC Labs area has been expanded for 2023. Exhibitors include Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, IBM Canada, SMEs, and more.
