and Chair of the United Nations Advisory Committee on Paper and Wood Products (ACPWP), is speaking today at the XIII World Forestry Congress (WFC) on climate change impacts on forests and people, following a day of deliberation. He will also be responding to the WWF challenge for global zero net deforestation, as well as participating in the Congress's concluding press conference (

) regarding the WFC's forestry recommendations for COP 15.
The World Forestry Congress is a gathering of more than 6 000 leaders and representatives from around the world who meet every six years to discuss global forestry issues and strategies.
