KANESATAKE, QC, Jan. 22 /CNW Telbec/ - The Mohawk Council of Kanesatake are welcoming media next Monday, at 2 p.m., for a press conference regarding the litigation over the land claim of the ancient Seigneury of Lake of Two-Mountains. This dispute served as the foundation for the crisis of 1990, was revived by last week's events when the Norfolk Company started real estate development preparations on land situated in the heart of Mohawk ancestral territory.
