Media Advisory - TDSB negotiates first-ever sale of carbon credits

TORONTO, June 7 /CNW/ - The Toronto District School Board has completed one of the largest transactions of its kind - the Board's first - to sell carbon credits to the Greening Canada Fund, created by the Toronto City Summit Alliance's Greening Greater Toronto initiative, and managed by Green Power Action Inc.

Join us Wednesday morning to find out:

    - How this win-win arrangement permits TDSB to invest an incremental
$1.75 million in projects to help it meet its "Go Green - Climate
Change Action Plan" goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions

    - How this arrangement also permits forward-looking Canadian

advancing their desire to support good community initiatives
