Media advisory - Royal 22e Régiment Band Concert

VALCARTIER GARRISON, QC, Jan. 27 /CNW Telbec/ - The Royal 22e Régiment Band (R22eR Band) invites members of the media and the general public to attend a concert at the Canadian War Museum on January 28, 2010, at 6:30 pm. Admission to the museum is free after 4 pm.

The program will be diversified and include popular tunes, classical pieces, traditional melodies and military marches. The band will also play "Vent d'espoir" (Wind of Hope), a piece composed by Sergeant Denis Fortier of the R22eR Band in honour of the Canadian Forces members on overseas missions.

This event is made possible with the support of 5 Area Support Group and Land Force Quebec Area.

The R22eR Band comprises 40 professional musicians and is based at Valcartier Garrison, near Quebec City.
