TORONTO, Sept. 22 /CNW Telbec/ - Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health and the advisor on viral diseases for the Pan America Health Organization will discuss H1N1 pandemic and response plans at the Pandemic Preparedness 2009: a Call to Action conference, hosted by The Conference Board of Canada in Toronto.

            will outline the current state of the H1N1 pandemic and the

            Dr. Arlene King, Chief Medical Officer of Health, Ministry of
            Health and Long-Term Care, will discuss Ontario's role in
            preparing for the pandemic, at 9:55 a.m., Thursday

            Andrew Archibald, Research Associate, National Security and
            Public Safety, The Conference Board of Canada, will present
            findings from the Conference Board's report on pandemic
            preparedness, 2:00 p.m., Thursday
