Media Advisory - MLSE Foundation to launch Regent Park Granting Consortium and RPAG Grants

TORONTO, Nov. 25, 2015 /CNW/ -

MLSE Foundation, in partnership with Sentry Investments, 3TO6 Team and Kelly Silverstein Memorial Fund, will introduce the Regent Park Granting Consortium and launch the official application process of the RPAG (Regent Park Athletic Grounds) Grants. In addition, they will announce a commitment of $1 million over four years in support of sustainable programming and capacity building in Regent Park.

Through the RPAG Grants, MLSE Foundation will award funds to sports and recreational-based programs and initiatives that will utilize the Regent Park Athletic Grounds. Registered charities that provide sports and recreational-based programming for youth in Regent Park, Moss Park, St. James Town and River Town have the opportunity to apply for a grant via online application. The recipient will then be determined by a selection committee based on specific grant criteria.
