Media Advisory - Minister McCallum, Minister Bond and Mayor Hepner available to media

SURREY, BC, Dec. 2, 2015 /CNW/ - The Honourable John McCallum, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, The Honourable Shirley Bond, Minister of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training and Minister Responsible for Labour for British Columbia; and, Her Worship, Linda Hepner, Mayor of Surrey will be available to media to provide an update following a meeting with a range of local stakeholders regarding the plan to resettle 25,000 Syrian refugees.

Following the media availability, Minister McCallum will participate in a brief photo opportunity at the Simon Fraser University Surrey Campus with community groups that are supporting the resettlement of Syrian refugees.
