ANNOUNCING SIGNIFICANT FUNDING FOR AGING AT HOME STRATEGY AND RELATED SENIORS
HEALTH INITIATIVES
TORONTO, Aug. 30 /CNW/ - The South West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) has approved significant funding for initiatives that will help seniors live healthy, independent lives in the comfort and dignity of their own homes.
Huron-Bruce MPP Carol Mitchell, John Van Bastelaar, Acting Board Chair of the South West LHIN and health service providers will be on hand to discuss these initiatives and the real impact they are having on residents of the South West LHIN.
Two clients of the Community Stroke Rehabilitation will also be on hand to talk about how the program has improved their condition and the benefits of the program to them personally.
There will be a brief presentation followed by a question and answer session. One on one interviews are welcome and can be arranged at the event. For those media unable to attend one of the locations, a media release, backgrounder, photos and video will be available following the announcement.
