Chief Designer of Hyundai's European design studio to tell the story of how a vehicle comes to life at Montreal Auto Show
MARKHAM, ON, Jan. 8 /CNW/ - Ever wondered how a vehicle is born? Who decides on its new features? How is the "look" created and who brings that look to life? How do you know if the design concept is compatible with the necessities of fitting in the engine and transmission?
Internationally renowned design expert Thomas Burkle, Chief Designer, Hyundai Design Center Europe (HDCE), will attend the Montreal Auto Show to discuss how his studio conceived and fashioned the all-new 2010 Tucson - the first-ever Hyundai vehicle to sport the company's new Fluidic Design concept.
Mr. Burkle will be available to media to illustrate the Fluidic Design philosophy and how this design concept came to life for the Tucson. As head of design at HDCE in Russelsheim, Germany, he offers a fascinating perspective on the genesis of a new vehicle.
