Media Advisory - ESPN Deportes Debuts Marketing Campaign featuring the Music of Grammy award-winning Calle 13 to Promote the TORONTO 2015 Pan American Games

TORONTO, April 14, 2015 /CNW/ - ESPN Deportes, a broadcast rights holder for TORONTO 2015, will be sharing with the Canadian press the networks' ambitious plan to cover the largest multisport Games in Canadian history. ESPN Deportes will present more than 200 hours of Olympic-type multimedia coverage around the event which will showcase the host city of Toronto.  ESPN and ESPN 2 will dedicate more than 80 hours of live coverage.

On Wednesday, April 15 special guests will talk about the campaign which debuted yesterday and features a series of athletes on their journey to the Games.  The athletes include Olympic silver medallist Marlen Esparza (boxing, USA); Olympic silver medallist Luguelin Santos (400 metres, Dominican Republic); Olympic bronze medallist Javier Culson (400 m hurdles, Puerto Rico); Olympic and National record-holding backstroke swimmer from Mexico Fernanda Gonzalez; three-time gold medallist 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games Omar Pinzón (swimming, Colombia); 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games gold medallist Monica Puig (WTA#48-Puerto Rico), among many others.
