EVENT
INCLUSION OF LGBTI IN THE DOMESTIC IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NEW URBAN AGENDA: The Minister and Julián Castro, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, will attend a special event to call on fellow Member States to ensure that they leave no one behind, including the LGBTQ2 community, as they implement the New Urban Agenda. The session will feature a series of presentations delivered by international advocates for LGBTQ2 rights and Heads of Delegations for Member States.

EVENTMexico networking event on Safe Cities for Women and Girls: The Minister has been invited by Ms. Rosario Robles, Secretary of Rural, Territorial and Urban Development of Mexico to be a panelist and speaker at this networking event that will focus on how the design of the city must ensure the empowerment of girls and women, as well as make it a space where they can develop a life free from violence. The event will also focus on developing strategies that will contribute to that end.
