MONTRÉAL, le 15 oct. /CNW Telbec/ - Judith Woodsworth became President of Concordia University on August 1, 2008, coming back to the institution where she began her teaching and administrative career in 1980. Dr. Woodsworth has served the wider community in many different roles in social, cultural and business organizations. As a woman leader, she has inspired, influenced and motivated other women to achieve their full potential and make a difference in society.
Concordia University's academic culture celebrates research, creativity and the transfer of knowledge that further enhances Montreal's reputation as one of North America's major capitals of innovation. In the past decade, Concordia has strengthened its teaching base to continue making important contributions to the economic, social and cultural life of the city through novel partnerships with industry and government. The three pillars of Concordia's strategic framework are high academic quality, outstanding student experience and community engagement.
We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you to this most fascinating luncheon presentation.
