LOTTO MAX jackpot grows to $60 million plus 35 MAXMILLIONS prizes

Five MAXMILLIONS won across the province

TORONTO, Dec. 19, 2015 /CNW/ - It could be an extra special holiday season for many Ontarians. On Friday, December 25, 2015, LOTTO MAX is offering up a very merry $60 million dollar jackpot (estimated) plus 35 MAXMILLIONS prizes (estimated) worth $1 million each.

Last night's draw generated many prize-winning tickets sold across Ontario.

There were four MAXMILLIONS tickets, worth $1 million each, sold in the Bowmanville area, Mississauga and two in Toronto. One MAXMILLIONS ticket, sold in Ottawa, is worth $500,000 as it was shared with a ticket sold in another province.

Also, there were four ENCORE tickets, worth $100,000 each, sold in the Hamilton area, Sudbury and two in Brockville.

Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $2.7 billion in prizes, including 42 jackpot wins and 280 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.

For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the MAXMILLIONS prizes.

Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers until 10.30 p.m. Friday, December 25, 2015 for the draw that evening.
