VAUGHAN, ON, May 6, 2016 /CNW/ - National Brokers Insurance Services Inc. is pleased to announce today that President Joyce Usher-Mesiano has been selected as a participant in QuantumShift, a unique leadership development program founded by Ivey Business School and KPMG Enterprise and sponsored by TD and the Globe and Mail.
Helping private businesses grow is essential to building a more competitive Canada. Ivey, KPMG, TD, and the Globe and Mail realize this and for the 13th year they're inviting a select group of entrepreneurs to participate in QuantumShift, a rigorous week-long program to give them the tools to push their businesses forward.
The program focuses on how to lead an enterprise through exponential growth; how to attract and retain the best employees; how to uncover obstacles that may be limiting growth; how to value a venture and use strategies for moving from business plan to financial proposition; and how to build a strong network of entrepreneurial peers to share best-practices.
"As a business owner I feel very fortunate to be selected by QuantumShift," says Usher-Mesiano. Having been selected by other entrepreneurial initiatives, like Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business Executive Program, Usher-Mesiano is an active supporter of such programs, "Any opportunities I have been afforded in the past to continue my business education has only benefited my companies," says Usher-Mesiano, "To be surrounded by my peers and other passionate entrepreneurs while doing so is an added bonus."
National Brokers Insurance has grown to become a leading Canadian and international broker of property and casualty insurance products and services.
