Livingston regulatory affairs director continues as customs group's chair
TORONTO, Sept. 27 /CNW/ - Candace Sider has been elected to a third term as chair of the board of directors of the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers (CSCB), Livingston International president and CEO Peter Luit announced today.
Mrs. Sider, Livingston's Canadian regulatory affairs director, is a world-renowned expert on risk management and compliance, addressing delegates last June at the annual meeting of the International Federation of Customs Brokers Associations, where she also serves as a board member.
"Her leadership lends a credible voice to our industry in providing advice and guidance to government regulators on new policies and procedures," said Mr. Luit. "Furthermore, her depth of experience brings a strong focus to the CSCB in support of educational opportunities and the development of business solutions that will meet the future needs of the international trade community."
