SIDNEY, BC, Nov. 3, 2016 /CNW/ - Five-time Juno award winner Liona Boyd will be performing in Sidney, Courtenay, Chemainus and Salt Spring Island beginning on November 25, 2016.
Liona Boyd, the world-famous, 5 time Juno award winning guitarist, will be performing with her latest discovery – Andrew Dolson. This is Liona's first tour with her latest musical protégé: the wonderful singer and guitarist Andrew Dolson who will enthral the audience with his appearance, musical abilities (at 25 Andrew is also a model), and his powerful and expressive voice.
Liona Boyd and Andrew Dolson have included some Elementary Choirs into their program to provide the children with a once in lifetime experience being on stage with one of Canada's most accomplished artists. They will create a magical evening performing well loved Christmas music interwoven with Liona's original pieces, many of which are featured on her album "A Winter Fantasy". "This will be my first time performing with school choirs on Vancouver Island and Salt Spring Island" states Ms. Boyd.
"This is Liona's third Christmas album and my favourite to date" claims Benjamin Werbski of Jump Events Inc. who is promoting the tour. "I'd also like to thank all the sponsors for their support in helping make this tour possible" Werbski added.
