Les Rôtisseries St-Hubert inaugurates a new charging station - A public charging station at the Bromont restaurant

MONTRÉAL, Aug. 14, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The Electric Circuit announces the commissioning of a new charging station for electric vehicles at the St-Hubert restaurant in Bromont. The charging station, located in the parking lot of the restaurant on Boulevard de Bromont, is now available to drivers of plug-in electric vehicles.

"The St-Hubert restaurant in Bromont is proud to offer this new service to customers who have opted to reduce their ecological footprint," said Daniel Camirand, general manager of the Bromont restaurant. "In addition, this project fits in perfectly with St-Hubert's sustainable development plan."

"We are delighted with this new charging station at the Bromont St-Hubert restaurant," added France Lampron, Senior Advisor – Transportation Electrification at Hydro-Québec, on behalf of the Electric Circuit's founding partners. "With this newest addition, there are now 25 public charging stations in the St-Hubert network. We commend this dynamic founding partner as well as its network of franchisees who have believed in the project from the beginning. Their commitment has allowed us to continue developing the public charging offering in an area popular with vacationers visiting the region as well as Bromont residents."

The Electric Circuit
The Electric Circuit is the largest public charging network in Québec. It is a major initiative in providing the charging infrastructure required to support the adoption of rechargeable electric cars in Québec.

The network comprises a fast-charge (400-V) station and close to 300 Level 2 (240-V) charging stations in parking lots of the AMT, RONA stores, Metro grocery stores and St-Hubert restaurants throughout Québec. Since its launch in March 2012, 70 private and institutional partners have joined the Electric Circuit. It continues to expand in order to offer greater geographical coverage and serve more EV drivers in many regions of Québec.

Electric Circuit users have access to a 24/7 telephone help line run by CAA-Québec, as well as a charging-station locator service. The Electric Circuit Web site, theelectriccircuit.com, and mobile application for iOS et Android are updated as new stations are installed or commissioned.
