Laurentian Bank of Canada completes common share offering


MONTREAL, Dec. 17, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Laurentian Bank of Canada (TSX: LB) ("Laurentian") announces today the closing of its previously announced equity financing having issued 1,250,000 common shares (the "Common Shares") at $52.00 per Common Share for gross proceedings of $65 million. The syndicate of underwriters was led by BMO Capital Markets and RBC Capital Markets, as joint bookrunners, and Laurentian Bank Securities Inc., as co-lead manager.

The net proceeds of this Offering was added to Laurentian's general funds and will be used for general corporate purposes and to support the Bank's future growth initiatives.

The Common Shares were issued pursuant to a prospectus supplement dated December 11, 2015 to Laurentian Bank's short form base shelf prospectus dated November 10, 2014.
