TORONTO, Oct. 14, 2009 /CNW/ - Starting October 31, we are introducing some changes on the Lakeshore East and West corridor, including the introduction of a new stop location on our Peterborough bus service. Here are the highlights:
Lakeshore West GO Train & Bus Service
Starting Saturday, October 31, some Lakeshore West train and bus trip departure and running times will be adjusted to more closely reflect actual travel times. Connecting GO Bus trips to and from Niagara Falls, McMaster University, and Milton will be adjusted accordingly. These changes will affect both weekday and weekend/holiday service. In some cases, the adjustments mean that trips will be leaving a few minutes earlier.
Peterborough GO Bus Service
A new park and ride stop location will open on the Peterborough GO Bus service, which offers connections to the Lakeshore East GO Train service. Located in Clarington North, at Hwy. 35 & Hwy. 115, the stop will be served by all trips. To accommodate the extra stop, southbound bus trips will leave Trent University a few minutes earlier, and northbound trips will arrive later.
