Fans will have the opportunity to use the Kangaroo TV handheld devices to follow the action of every match from anywhere on the course with access to multiple live video feeds, match and player statistics and customized content developed exclusively for users of the Kangaroo TVs. This event is part of the 50-event, 4-year partnership announced between Kangaroo Media and the PGA TOUR earlier this year.
Kangaroo TV users get the best of both worlds - the on-course experience of professional golf AND the ability to watch the event on a personalized handheld TV. Features of the Kangaroo include live video coverage, high-quality video clips, user controlled replays and stroke-by-stroke statistics from each match. The handheld device enables fans to personalize their viewing, bringing them even closer to the action and their favorite players from anywhere on the course. In all, more than 2500 devices will be used daily throughout the 4-day tournament as part of a sponsorship agreement negotiated with Citi Group.
