Attracting entrepreneurial talent to Canada sustains robust economy in tech industries
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 17, 2017 /CNW/ -- Istuary Idea Labs is approved as one of the business incubators in Canada under the Start-up Visa pilot program offered by the Canadian government. In an effort to attract innovative, entrepreneurial talent to Canada, the pilot program ensures strict criteria is met by participating companies including a strong track record of incubating companies before being officially designated.
Istuary Idea Labs, a business unit of the Istuary Innovation Group, works with the local entrepreneur and small business community by providing free access to global resources and global opportunities. Known as the "Martian Program", the business model is to help to identify market opportunities, develop a go-to-market strategy, provide resources such as mentorship, engineering expertise, access to capital and on-ground support to help businesses to scale in global markets.
"We have been supporting entrepreneurs and start-ups to go Global on Day One," says Michael Liu, VP of Istuary Idea Labs. "The Start-up Visa designation provides another access point to be in front of innovative talent."
