Invitation to Media - Montréal Wood Convention - February 13 to 15

QUÉBEC CITY, Feb. 13, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The Quebec Wood Export Bureau (QWEB), in collaboration with Quebec Forest Industry Council (QFIC), the Maritime Lumber Bureau (MLB) and the Ontario Forest Industries Association (OFIA), hereby invites media representatives to attend a number of addresses and presentations that will be given within the framework of the first edition of the Montréal Wood Convention on Thursday, February 14, 2013, between 9 am and 4:30 pm at the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth in Montreal.

On location, they can hear numerous well-known speakers, including Mr. Don Roberts, Vice-Chairman of Wholesale Banking at CIBC and leader of the bank's Renewable Energy & Clean Technology Team, Mr. Frank Dottori, founder and former President-CEO of Tembec, Mr. Michael Green, architect, of Michael Green Architecture, and Dr. Gustavo Grodnitzky, a psychologist in the field of organizational communication.

Media representatives are also invited to attend a panel debate on the prospects ahead for the forest products industry, between Mr. Marc Brinkmeyer, Chairman, President and Co-Owner of the Idaho Forest Group, Mr. Rick Doman, President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of EACOM Timber Corporation, and Mr. Charles Tardif, Vice-President, Procurement & Business Development. The panel moderator will be Mr. Frédéric Bouchard, National Deals Leader for Forest, Paper and Packaging at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
