Interactive Advertising Bureau of Canada (IAB) Announces National Board of
Directors for 2010 and Elects Dawna Henderson as Chair and Carolyn Cramer as
Vice-Chair

TORONTO, Jan. 21, 2010 /CNW/ - The Interactive Advertising Bureau of Canada today announced its new National Board of Directors for 2010, and the election of Dawna Henderson, President & CEO of henderson bas, as Board Chair; and Carolyn Cramer, National Director of Canadian Sales for Tribal Fusion, as Board Vice-Chair.

Henderson is a highly-respected industry pioneer, having founded one of Canada's first digital marketing agencies. She brings 25 years of creative and business expertise to the helm of the IAB Board, including 17 years within the Interactive advertising industry. Her innovative thinking and deep understanding of the breadth of Interactive mediums has attracted an extensive blue-chip list of clients to her agency, including Coca-Cola Ltd., ING Direct, Joe Fresh, Molson Canadian, Capital One, eBay, Mercedes-Benz, Nike and Levi Strauss & Co.

An active and leading member of IAB Canada since its inception in 1997, Henderson will continue to head IAB Canada's Agency Council, where she has led significant industry change including updates to the Canadian Universal Ad Package (CUAP) and creation of the Late Creative and Terms & Conditions Policies.

The election of an Agency-based industry executive as Chair of the IAB Board is a first for IAB Canada, which boasts 225 highly-active Member companies.

"The election of IAB Canada's first Agency-based Chair solidifies IAB Canada's commitment to organize itself in a tripartite manner; ensuring that all players within the Interactive media ecosystem - Publishers, Agencies, Advertisers and Service Associates - are able to have a significant role in shaping the industry," says Paula Gignac, President of IAB Canada.

Carolyn Cramer, who was elected to the position of Vice-Chair of the IAB Board, will also continue as Vice-President, Publisher Council, a position she has held for two of the past three years that she has been an active member of the IAB Board.

Cramer also brings a wealth of experience to her new responsibilities as Vice Chair, including insight and understanding into Ad Networks though her current position as Director of Sales, Canada, at Tribal Fusion; and more than 12 years of experience in Online Publishing, through her work as National Sales Manager for Yahoo! Canada's Search division, and in Display Sales for AOL Canada and Canwest Media. Cramer has even taken a turn on the Agency side of the business, having worked as a Strategic Planner at Leo Burnett.
