Versatile comedic whiz kid joins groundbreaking series in the role of Project Producer
TORONTO, Feb. 20, 2014 /CNW/ - He's won Funniest Video in Canada from Funny or Die, a Canadian Comedy Award for his work with The Sketchersons, NOW Magazine's Best Comedy Website, along with multiple nominations as co-creator, director and producer for the popular series Guidance, and now Jared Sales will bring his multifaceted talents to Insight Production's leading-edge comedy project America, EH!
Insight Productions has long been the vanguard of uproarious Canadian television, including documentaries such as Comedy Gold (2006), comedy series such as Hatching, Matching & Dispatching (2005-06) and The Jon Dore Television Show (2007-08), plus the prime time special and ratings boon A Russell Peters Christmas. America, EH! will be an exercise in hilarity by pulling focus on our neighbours to the south, anchored with a one hour television series akin to classic sketch shows Laugh In, Saturday Night Live or SCTV. With a highly praised background in writing, directing, stand-up and sketch, Sales brings a heavily stamped comedic passport to the project.

A massive talent search for comedy performers and writers has been ongoing since June of 2013 and has gone from local rooms to large festivals.
