TORONTO, Sept. 14, 2016 /CNW/ - Today Platform Insurance Management Inc. ("Platform") announced an addition to its senior leadership team. Effective January 4, 2017, T. Neil Morrison will join Platform as Chairman following 25 years at Hub International Limited ("Hub") and Hunter Keilty Muntz & Beatty Limited ("HKMB"). Since 2006, Mr. Morrison has served as Executive Vice President, Operations, Hub International, (Chicago); Chairman, Hub Latin America, (Sao Paulo, Brasil); President & CEO Hub International HKMB & Hub International Ontario; and CEO of HKMB (purchased by Hub in 2008). In these positions, he was responsible for enterprise-wide operational initiatives, regional operations, M&A, margin and growth objectives in Ontario, Brasil and Puerto Rico. Previously Mr. Morrison served as a producer, Partner and Managing Partner with predecessor firms after starting as a Career Trainee with the Continental Corporation in 1986.
Mr. Morrison also serves on the Board of the Insurance Institute of Canada including as Chair in 2014/15. Mr. Morrison holds a degree in Economics from Queen's University at Kingston Ontario where he recently established a Fellowship in Economics awarded annually to Masters & PhD Graduate Students.
