Important Chinese investment fund and film producer - Gold-Finance Group announces the establishment of its first North American office in Greater Montréal

MONTRÉAL, May 26, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - On the sidelines of the C2-Montréal event, Gold-Finance Group, a major Chinese investment fund and film producer, announced the establishment of its first North American office in Greater Montréal. This announcement was made as part of an official opening ceremony, attended by Mr. Wei Jie, the company's Chairman, Mr. Peng Jingtao, the Chinese Consul General in Montreal, as well as many representatives of the business community and the entertainment industry.

Gold-Finance Group has already announced an investment to support the Longueuil-based company, D-Box Technologies, a manufacturer of motion and simulation systems for the entertainment industry, a unique technology used only in the Hollywood studios.

According to Mr. Hubert Bolduc, President and CEO of Montréal International, the arrival of a major player like Gold-Finance Group reflects the strong growth of the entertainment market in China and generates new business opportunities for Greater Montréal.
