OTTAWA, Nov. 16, 2012 /CNW/ - Hydro Ottawa is honoured to have been
recognized last night at the 2012 Ottawa Business Achievement Awards as
the Bronze Winner for Company of the Year.
The Ottawa Business Achievement Awards shine a spotlight each year on
growing, profitable, innovative companies that demonstrate great
customer service and corporate social responsibility. Now in its 20th year, the awards are organized by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and
the Ottawa Business Journal.
"I am very proud to accept this award on behalf of Hydro Ottawa's more
than 600 employees who are committed to performance excellence and
continuous improvement," said Bryce Conrad, Hydro Ottawa President and
Chief Executive Officer. "It's an honour to be recognized alongside
these local leaders, who are full of entrepreneurial spirit and passion
for our community."
John Kelly, a former board member at Hydro Ottawa, received a lifetime
achievement award at last night's event as well.
"On behalf of the Hydro Ottawa family, I would like to extend our
congratulations and best wishes to John on a remarkable career and to
thank him for his support and service to Hydro Ottawa," said Conrad.
