Environmentally conscious company, Tetra Pak, announces its official
sponsorship of LG Fashion Week Beauty by L'Oréal Paris
TORONTO, Oct. 19 /CNW/ - Tetra Pak Canada, leading food processing and packaging solutions company and maker of the carton packages utilized by numerous brands in Canada for a variety of food products, is keeping things cool at the hottest fashion shows this season as the official water sponsor at this year's LG Fashion Week Beauty by L'Oréal Paris in Toronto.
From October 19th to the 24th, Tetra Pak will be keeping things fashionably "green" by hydrating every guest and participant at the highly anticipated event with Pure Nordic water in cartons. From plastic bottles, to this year's popular reusable bottles, the methods by which Canadians carry their water have frequently been featured on the trends and accessories pages of Canada's fashion books and blogs. This season, Tetra Pak is educating Canadians on the environmental benefits of Tetra Pak cartons while showcasing a great alternative to on-the-go water consumption.
At Toronto's LG Fashion Week Beauty by L'Oréal Paris, Tetra Pak Pure Nordic water will be available backstage, in the VIP area and at the main bar area. This sponsorship marks the first time that carton water will be featured as an official water sponsor.
"We are excited to participate in Toronto's LG Fashion Week Beauty by L'Oréal Paris and show many of the most publicized and influential trend setters in Canada the benefits of using Tetra Pak cartons," said Tevfik Djamgouz, marketing director, Tetra Pak Canada. "Consumers across Canada already associate carton packaging with environmental friendliness and this awareness and passion for cartons will only continue to grow. We look forward to seeing how consumer response to using carton packaging evolves."
Tetra Pak has always been mindful of the environment. From the use of paper, a renewable resource, in its packaging, compliance with environmental regulations and energy-efficient design of packages, to the continued growth of post-consumer beverage carton recycling programs, Tetra Pak has been a leader in environmental responsibility. Today, over 78 per cent of Canadian households can recycle Tetra Pak cartons.
