Grande West receives third Cape Breton vicinity order

VANCOUVER, Nov. 30, 2016 /CNW/ - Grande West Transportation Group Inc. (TSXV: BUS; OTC PINK: GWTNF) – ("Grande West" or the "Company"), a Canadian bus manufacturer of heavy-duty mid-sized transit buses for sale in Canada and the United-States, is pleased to announce a new follow-on order from the Cape Breton Regional Municipality ("CBRM").

CBRM has ordered two (2) Vicinity buses for a total purchase price of approximately $900,000. This order is CBRM's third order and will double their Vicinity fleet from two to four buses. City View has been a strong and strategic relationship for developing Grande West's Vicinity market on the east coast for four years.

Grande West's current total firm orders for 2017 delivery are for one hundred seventy-five (175) buses valued at over $61 million CAD. Firm orders and options for 2018-2020 delivery are currently at ninety (90) buses.

William Trainer, CEO of Grande West stated, "We are pleased to continue to expand our partnership with Cape Breton as they upgrade their fleet and change their fleet mix. We look forward to more opportunities to provide Vicinity buses to CBRM and other regional municipal transit agencies. Grande West's vision is to assist all transportation companies, public and private, who are seeking to right-size fleets, improve ridership experience and generate operational savings."
