TORONTO, Oct. 7 /CNW/ - Gluskin Sheff + Associates Inc., one of Canada's pre-eminent wealth management firms serving high net worth investors, is pleased to announce that David Vankka has joined the Firm as Vice-President, Risk Management.
Mr. Vankka will be based in Calgary and will bolster the Firm's efforts to serve clients throughout western Canada. Mr. Vankka joins Gluskin Sheff from Tristone Capital Inc., where, for the past seven years, he was Managing Director, Institutional Sales and Trading.

Mr. Vankka brings to Gluskin Sheff over 15 years of capital markets experience, with a strong background in institutional trading and investment banking, particularly in the oil and gas sector. Prior to joining Tristone Capital Inc., Mr. Vankka held senior positions at Peters & Co. Limited and at Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Vankka is a Chartered Accountant, a CFA charterholder, and is a director of the Calgary CFA Society.
