Giovanni Angeloro men's fall collection preview under the brand name D.U.O.M.O.
MONTREAL, Feb. 23, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Visual Artist, Fashion Influencer and Executive Giovanni Angeloro announced today the upcoming preview of his fall menswear collection in Montreal under the brand name D.U.O.M.O.
The fall collection consists of a limited edition of long sleeve t-shirts, jeans, blazers and jackets. Each piece presents prints of artworks by an emerging or established artist.
Every single piece of clothing, is signed, numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity
''I am introducing the concept of ''art-à-porter''; you can either wear it or frame it'', says Angeloro. I wanted to propose masculine, yet imaginative and casual menswear for any occasion.
The D.U.O.M.O. fall collection 2017 will feature the work of Montreal artist Gianni Giuliano.
''Mr. Giuliano was elated to be part of this art-to-wear collection, and I was thrilled to bring forward the work and talent of such a remarkable artist'', adds Angeloro.
At first, I thought of having the collection preview in New York in February but rather chose the Garment District of Montreal to honor the work of Montreal artisans and artists.
The D.U.O.M.O. menswear collection will be showcased at a fashion show that will take place in August 2017 in Montreal during the Italian Week Festival.
''Last year, I was inspired by the amazing work and partnership of Montreal designer Amabile Cantisani and abstract artist Frank Caracciolo. I see the Italian Week fashion show as a celebration of the creative talent and workmanship of the Montreal Italian Fashion industry'', Angeloro concludes.

About Giovanni Angeloro
Giovanni Angeloro is a visual artist of Italian descent born in Montreal.
He has received various awards for his paintings and was honored for his contribution to promote Canadian art on the international scene.
He is member of the International Association of Clothing Designers & Executives (IACDE), the Canadian Apparel Federation (CAF), the Surface Design Association (SDA) and the Fashion Industry Association (FIA).
