New advanced sensors and EXR Processor II improve resolution and reduce
noise for amazing images
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Jan. 7, 2013 /CNW/ - FUJIFILM Canada announces two new
additions to their highly acclaimed X Series line-up: the new,
professional-grade FUJIFILM X100S digital camera, and the new FUJIFILM X20 digital camera.
"The new FUJIFILM X cameras blend the award-winning performance of the
X-Series with classic design and easy operation for a truly pleasing
photographic experience," says Greg Poole, Vice President, Imaging and
Recording Media Products, FUJIFILM Canada. "By incorporating new
sensors and processors, the X100S and the X20 achieve amazing speed and
razor sharp image quality."
The FUJIFILM X100S combines high-performance Fujifilm components that
together defy ordinary digital camera limitations, and give
photographers a unique, professional digital camera experience. With
the new technologically advanced APS-C X-Trans CMOS II Sensor and
improved EXR Processor II, the X100S is capable of one of the world's
fastest autofocus speeds of up to 0.08 seconds(*1). They also increase its image resolution by 25%(*2) and reduce noise by 30%(*3) over the first generation X100. The FUJINON 23mm F2 fixed lens delivers
