LÉVIS, QC, Feb. 16 /CNW Telbec/ - Desjardins Group's AccèsD Services call centres have received, for a sixth year in a row, the prestigious COPC (Customer Operations Performance Center) certification, a world first in the financial industry.

COPC certification is one of the most rigorous measurement systems in the call centre industry worldwide and requires recipients to meet 22 productivity, service quality, and customer service criteria. Once again this year, Desjardins' AccèsD Services team has fulfilled the organization's continually evolving criteria and met COPC standards.

"Being certified for the first time requires constant effort, but maintaining the certification six years in a row is a true challenge," said Roger Tessier, Vice-President of the AccèsD Division at Desjardins. "A sixth consecutive certification is not at all a matter of routine, as no other call center in a financial institution has succeeded in attaining, or sought to attain, certification for a sixth time. These excellent results demonstrate our employees' outstanding commitment. This honour is to their great credit alone, as it is thanks to them that our contact centres remain among the finest in the world."

The AccèsD Services team receives more than 2 million calls per year in its call centres for advisor-assisted transactions. In addition, 2.2 million users make over 850 million self-directed transactions online and by phone annually.
