WENDAKE, QC, April 2, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The Cree Nation lost five of its youths in tragic circumstances. They were found in a burnt cottage.

To the family members, to Chief Shecapio, to the Council and to the members of the community, the AFNQL Chief, Ghislain Picard, personally and on behalf of the Chiefs and Councils of the AFNQL, wish to express his deepest sympathy following the tragic loss of their young people.

"Youth are most precious for our First Nations. As Chiefs and Councils, we all work very hard to assure them a promising future. A tragedy like the one suffered by the community of Mistissini brings to all of us the deepest sorrow", deplores Chief Ghislain Picard.
