Innovative program makes the grade with customers
LAVAL, QC, April 16 /CNW Telbec/ - Uniboard, a North American leader of manufactured engineered wood products, held its first Canadian edition of Uniboard Academy in Toronto on April 14, 2010. Uniboard Academy, the company's signature information and product training seminar event, was initially launched in June 2009 and has been a major hit among customers. The session, held at Uniboard's Ontario Headquarters, was designed to further educate customers on the company's engineered wood products and manufacturing processes in a stimulating and hands-on environment.
Twenty-six of Uniboard's core customers were invited and attended the session which featured a training video as well as in-depth information on product manufacturing processes. Attendees were educated on Uniboard's entire product portfolio ranging from thermofused melamine, medium and high-density fiberboard, particleboard and the company's line of NU Green NAUF panels.
"For us, it was very important to keep the group very small to make the event very personalized and intimate," said Don Raymond, VP Marketing of Uniboard. "This program has been a huge success because it gives us a chance to meet face-to-face with our customers, get their insight and answer the questions that are important to them."
Following the seminar, all attendees were presented with a Uniboard Academy diploma confirming the invaluable experience and knowledge gained on Uniboard engineered wood products.
