The second season commission follows recent sales of tween/teen-targeted That's So Weird! to Boomerang Latin America and Nickelodeon Australia.
That's So Weird! is a live action sketch comedy series with an overriding back story, sitcom elements and funny sketches. Weird TV is a forgotten television network of JamCo manufacturing conglomerate. When Alana, one of the cast, comes looking for a summer job she accidentally finds herself managing the cable network and does what all new station managers do, fire the existing team and hire her friends.
