LÉVIS, QC, Oct. 7, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Davie, Canada's largest shipbuilder, strengthens its leading position by obtaining the new ISO 9001:2015 certification. The first of any Canadian shipbuilder to do so.
This certification, in addition to the new 5-year collective agreement, reinforces the stability of the organization and thereby contributes to its business growth in the coming years. Davie is not only the largest shipyard in Canada, but also a trusted partner whose professionalism satisfies one of the highest global standards.
Issued by the International Standards Organization, the new version of the ISO 9001 certification recognizes, among others, the company's customer orientation.
