TORONTO, Oct. 2 /CNW/ - CTV announced today plans for its exclusive broadcast special WE DAY: THE DALAI LAMA IN CONVERSATION WITH CRAIG KIELBURGER airing Saturday, Oct. 3 at 5 p.m. ET and Sunday, Oct. 4 at 5 p.m. ET with a special sneak peak today at 1 p.m. ET (visit CTV.ca for local broadcast times). This special features the only interview granted to an English-speaking television network during His Holiness's visit to Vancouver earlier this week where he was speaking at the Vancouver Peace Summit and We Day Vancouver. Both We Day events, Vancouver (Sept. 29) and Toronto (Oct. 5), will be presented as a prime-time special WE DAY 2009 airing on CTV on Saturday, October 10 at 7 p.m. ET.

As part of its commitment to Free The Children, We Day, and the Peace Summit, CTV together with Kielburger sat down with His Holiness the Dalai Lama for an intimate, thought provoking, and rare glimpse into the mind of one of the most influential people of our time. WE DAY: THE DALAI LAMA IN CONVERSATION WITH CRAIG KIELBURGER examines the complex challenges of the world, hope, the struggle for peace, compassion, and the responsibilities and teachings of the Dalai Lama.

Encore presentations of WE DAY: THE DALAI LAMA IN CONVERSATION WITH CRAIG KIELBURGER will air on Star! Friday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. ET; Saturday, Oct. 3 at 9:30 a.m. ET and 6:30 p.m. ET; Sunday, Oct. 4 at 7 a.m. ET and 9 p.m. ET; Monday, Oct. 5 at 9 a.m. ET; Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 2:30 p.m. ET.
