CSI: MIAMI's Big Debut: Surpasses 3 Million Viewers on CTV

- DANCING WITH THE STARS shines with 1.95 million viewers on CTV -

TORONTO, Sept. 22 /CNW/ - The unofficial start of the Fall 2009 season began last night and CTV's CSI: MIAMI surged 66%* from last year's season finale, charting 3.05 million viewers at 10 p.m.

The premiere won its timeslot nationally with total viewers and with all key demos in Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver, eclipsing timeslot competitors HEROES (Global/597,000) by 412% and THE JAY LENO SHOW (City TV/462,000) by more than 6 times the viewership.

CSI: MIAMI followed the premiere of DANCING WITH THE STARS which delivered 1.95 million total viewers at 8 p.m. and was followed by the CTV NATIONAL NEWS WITH LLOYD ROBERTSON at 11 p.m. with 1.43 million total viewers.
