Craig Wireless Systems Ltd. Announces Receipt of Broadband Radio Service
License Covering South Western Manitoba Including Brandon and Dauphin and
Updates as to Status of Spectrum License Sale to Inukshuk Wireless

WINNIPEG, July 7 /CNW/ - Craig Wireless Systems Ltd. ("Craig Wireless" or the "Company") (TSX: CWG) is pleased to announce that it has now been issued a Tier 3 broadband radio service (BRS) license by Industry Canada covering South Western Manitoba, including the Brandon and Dauphin regions (the "Western Manitoba BRS License").
Further to the press release of the Company dated March 26, 2010 announcing the execution of a definitive agreement (the "Agreement") for the sale (the "Sale") of the Company's Canadian spectrum assets to Inukshuk Wireless Partnership ("Inukshuk"), a partnership of affiliates of Rogers Communications and Bell Canada, and the subsequent related press releases issued by the Company throughout April, May and June, 2010 announcing the completion of additional closing phases of the Sale, the issuance of the Western Manitoba BRS License represents the satisfaction of another condition to the completion of the Sale.
Upon the filing of an application to Industry Canada to transfer the Western Manitoba BRS License to Inukshuk, the subsequent closing in respect of the Western Manitoba BRS License will be complete. The portion of sale proceeds payable by Inukshuk to the Company at the closing is $3.2 million of the aggregate sale proceeds of $80 million, $60 million of which the Company has already received. The amount remaining following the closing in respect of the Western Manitoba BRS License is $16.8 million, which shall be paid upon completion of certain conditions, including all requisite regulatory approvals.
