"We're proud to team up with Spartan Race Canada as its National Charity Partner with a goal of raising $100,000," said Simon Williams, Executive Director, Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation. "With a shared vision of a world beyond kids cancer, I have no doubt that the Spartan community will come together, go beyond the course and make a impact for those kids living with and beyond cancer."
CTCACF raises funds through high quality, memorable and physically challenging events that encourage active and healthy lifestyles. From cycling rides to team-building activities, CTCACF raises funds for worthy childhood cancer charities whose programs support children and their families living with and beyond cancer.
"Spartan Race Canada is honoured to partner with CTCACF and help make a difference in the fight against childhood cancer," said Martin Galligan, President, Spartan Race Canada. "Having CTCACF partner with Spartan on the junior program is a perfect fit. Our junior Spartans will effectively be supporting kids across the country who are facing the very real obstacle of dealing with cancer diagnosis and treatment. "
There are nine Spartan race weekends during the 2017 season. Starting in Owl's Head, QC and ending in Sun Peaks, BC, Spartan Race provides racing opportunities across the country. CTCACF will be onsite at each race supporting the junior Spartans and interacting with racers of all ages.
