Civic Society calls for the formation of a coalition dedicated to combating White Supremacy and Islamophobia
TORONTO, March 22, 2017 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, March 22nd 2017, a group of concerned citizens and residents will be meeting to form the coalition against white supremacy and Islamophobia (CAWI).

At our coalition meeting, we will be discussing the three following goals:
+ A national action-oriented conversation about the rise of white supremacy and Islamophobia.
+ Promote educational opportunities on how to be an ally.
+ Track incidents of hate and share resources on how best to report and combat the impact of hate.
We are expecting hundreds of participants and a robust discussion on how best to organize our collective efforts to combat the rise of Islamophobia and white supremacy.
