LONGUEUIL, QC, Sept. 24 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to announce that there will be no closing of lanes on Champlain Bridge over the coming weekend (September 26-27).
The roadworks will resume Monday, September 28, and will necessitate the closing of two out of three southbound lanes (toward the South shore). A first lane will be closed at 9:30 PM and a second one at 10:00 PM. In both cases, the lanes will be reopened to traffic at 5:00 AM. We remind you that the completion of these repairs is scheduled for October 9.
We also wish to underline that as of next week, two out of three northbound lanes (towards Montreal) will be closed from September 28 until October 2, 2009. During these roadworks, a first lane will be closed at 10 PM and the second one at 11 PM. The lanes will be reopened to traffic at 5 AM the following morning.
