<p>"Buffalo was appealing to us for many reasons - from its highly skilled workforce and accessibility to power to its proximity to <location>Toronto</location> and Rochester," said <person>Robert Offley</person>, President and CEO, CentriLogic, Inc. "With Buffalo on our map, it completes our 'Golden Horseshoe,' helping us to better deliver our services within the USA and across the border."</p>
<p/>
<p>There has been a tremendous surge in demand for outsourced datacenter space over the past several years. Increased concerns about regulatory compliance, power outages, network security, natural disasters and cost containment are cited as key contributing factors. CentriLogic's unique combination of physically secure and internationally diverse facilities, guaranteed up-time and experienced staff, provide companies with a full range of options to meet their needs.</p>
<p/>
<p>"CentriLogic acts as a safety deposit box for companies. It's our job to keep them up and running, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year," Offley said.</p>
<p/>
<p>Buffalo <person>Mayor Byron Brown</person> and Erie County Executive <person>Chris Collins</person> hailed CentriLogic's arrival.</p>
<p/>
<p>"CentriLogic could have expanded anywhere, but chose Buffalo because of our skilled workforce and strategic location," said <person>Mayor Brown</person>. "We're already working together to recruit residents for the multi-level jobs they will have available."</p>
<p/>
<p>Smaller markets like Buffalo and Rochester will likely lead the nation in the development of datacenters due to their secure location, renewable power, and competitive costs, according to Boyd Co., a leading corporate site selection firm.</p>
<p/>
<p>"It's reassuring to see smart, innovative, forward-thinking companies like CentriLogic investing in our region," said Erie County Executive Collins. "CentriLogic's presence not only means new jobs, it also provides opportunities to attract new investment in Western New York."</p>
