"With his industry experience, customer focus, leadership style and people-first approach to business, John will be able to take our company to new levels of success. His unique background as a customer and service provider brings a multi-dimensional perspective to our business. In my role as Chairman, I look forward to working closely with John and playing an active role in the continued growth of the company I started more than 25 years ago."
John is equally excited about the opportunities ahead for CCS and the chance to work closely with Dave Werklund.
"This is a unique organization and the opportunities I see for our diverse service offerings is one of the many reasons I accepted this role," said John Gibson, incoming President and CEO. "I spent a third of my career as a customer on the Exploration and Production side of the industry working for Chevron. I spent the next third of my career as an oilfield service provider. And, now, with CCS, I want to spend the last third of my career bringing environmental solutions to our industry - a personal passion of mine."
